Larhon
Master Stylist
Larhon “TheWeaveKilla” Threalkill was born on June 28, 1989 in Nashville, Tennessee and raised in Memphis. As one of three boys to a single mother, he went on to pursue his career in the hair care industry as a Master Cosmetologist. Faithfully, he believed this journey was destined along with sharing his talent of singing as a Minister of Music directing church choirs. His stylish visions and creative designs manifested quickly with him becoming a successful shop owner at the age of 20 supported by his family.
As a platform artist, he strongly believes that “I am a true Hair Weaveologist, specializing in all phases of hair and extensions.” He has been featured at the local and national level in hair, fashion, and bridal shows such as Bronner Brothers, Big Bad Dee, Watch Me Work, and sponsored by Silhouette Hair.
A thriving young stylist learning how to maintain success, he became a continuous learner attending specialty classes to enhance his craft. In the height of his career flourishing with his parents, brothers, and countless clients he fondly became known as “TheWeaveKilla” due to his techniques and skills of manipulating hair. Mental fortitude, unwavering endurance and love of faith safeguarded his path for six years as young entrepreneur until tragedy occurred.

On July 15, 2015, Larhon was shot seven times, robbed, and left for dead in a pool of his own blood by a welcomed guest in his home. He quickly lost his four employees, salon, new home of three weeks, truck, and all sense of a “normal” life. This unexpected and life changing event shattered his lifestyle but not his faith. He became paralyzed from the waist down, dependent upon the assistance of his support system for most of his needs. His recovery has been a true challenge with the help of all of his doctors, therapy, life adjustment classes, supportive family and friends, but he still was missing one thing, doing hair.
While transitioning through the recovery process, he found solace sharing his story throughout the community locally and nationally with his “Stop the Violence” campaign being moved most by his visit to T.D. Jake’s Potter’s House in Dallas, Texas. He slowly began taking clients to see how he could maneuver from his wheelchair and once he figured it out he was truly alive again. Larhon is a new shop owner (again) servicing a smaller clientele with 3 to 5 clients a day depending on his health yet his family still by his side.
The adjustments to his life enhanced his perspective of how things are done, so now he values not only his life but his ability to continue mastering his craft of styling. Larhon “TheWeaveKilla” is on a new path with the same big plans of becoming one of the industry’s leading hair stylists.
